Museum Kleines Klingental: Tour
November 18 @ 18:00 - 21:30 CET
Tour and Apéro
Join us for a guided tour, organized specifically for BaselConnect, of the Klingental Museum. The museum is located in the founding building of a former Dominican convent on the Klein Basel banks of the Rhine in the immediate vicinity of the Mittlerbrucke.
This museum is the only convent building of formerly ten large monasteries in the city of Basel, which is now open to the public. In a unique way it conveys something of the atmosphere of the pre-Reformation period. Several rooms with interiors from the early 16th century are well preserved and offer an extensive collection of sandstone sculptures from the Basle Cathedral dating back to around 1200.
The tour will be followed by an apéro at Parterre located in Basel’s famous Kaserne.
Free to BaselConnect Members. Non-members: CHF 40, payable upon registration.
BaselConnect individual membership is only CHF 50. So, if you are not yet a member and wish to attend as a member, let us know.
